Vision

Our vision is not only limited to the routine parameters of ensuring regular classes and timely completion of syllabus – no doubt these objectives are also of prime importance – but also towards the development of mental faculties which are essential for overall human growth and perfection. In this regard we will focus on three parameters - a) spoken English skills b) nurturing critical thinking and c) fostering confidence and wholesome development of personality.

Mastery over spoken English continues to be important even in the contemporary times, therefore in order to hone the spoken English skills of students they will be regularly and systematically engaged in group conversations, discussions, role-plays etcetera in order to improve their vocabulary, pronunciation, and fluency.

Students are usually taught to stick to the learning norms and thinking patterns which have been repeated generation after generation, but there is a need for development of critical thinking so that students will look at the prevailing paradigm with a question mark. Is it all that is to life? Are some alternate paradigms worth considering? Is some positive change possible in the ways in which we live, treat relationships, choose a profession etcetera?  Students have to be encouraged to think critically and deeply about all the aspects of life. It will naturally help them at better understanding of literature as, unlike the common conception, literature deals with myriad realities and complexities of life.

We will also endeavor to apply all proven psychological methods to ensure that our students will come out as self-assured citizens ready to participate in nation building.
